Kirk Heinze: Triple Bottom Line Sustainability at Westview Orchards

"Those of you who regularly listen to “Greening of the Great Lakes” on Newstalk 760—WJR have heard me use the term, “triple bottom line,” when referring to sustainability.  The triple bottom line refers to what I, and others, believe are three essential components to any definition of sustainability:  the environmental, economic and socio-cultural components.  I was reminded of how these three dimensions are interwoven during a recent interview with Katrina Schumacher and Abby Roy-Jacobson, co-owners of Westview Orchards and Adventure Farm in Washington Twp., near Romeo.
